“School Boards Matter” Zoom Meeting April 21 with Kyrstin Schuette

As discussed in past meetings, we see school board elections as the local battlegrounds in the fight against Christian nationalism. Nearly 300 out of the 330 Minnesota school districts are holding school board races this year.
On Tuesday April 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., join us for a Zoom meeting with Kyrstin Schuette, Executive Director of the School Board Integrity Project. She will provide a big picture of why school board elections are important and discuss how to use “School Boards Matter,” a guide to effectively advocating at the school board level. We encourage you to download this guide and review it before our Zoom meeting.
Kyrstin will share which school board districts give her the most concern because of outside money funding conservative candidates. These candidates want school vouchers and to censor books in the library. The School Board Integrity Project has endorsed candidates in these school districts and they need our support.
If you are excited about making a positive difference in your public schools and your community, this is the meeting for you. Come learn how to do it!
Please register for this event here. A Zoom link will be emailed to you on Monday, April 20.
