Suggested Book Titles

The following are a few titles for members who want to learn more about Christian Nationalism. Additional titles will be added as new publications become available.

Book Cover How To End Christian Nationalism Amanda Tyler is the lead organizer for Christians Against Christian Nationalism. Amanda Tyler, is an attorney and executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty. Her book is intended to provide a guide to how to respond to Christian Nationalism. She emphasizes that Christians need to lead the effort in order to not be accused of being Anti-Christian. She writes from her own experiences and discusses strategies faith communities can use. This is a good starting point for those unfamiliar with Christian Nationalism.

Book cover of The False White Gospel. Jim Wallis is an American theologian, writer of numerous books, teacher and political activist. He is also known as the founder and former editor of Sojourners magazine. In this book, IWallis explains how the ideology of white Christian nationalism distorts the true message and teachings of Jesus and the beliefs of Christian nationalism do not adhere to the core values of faith, love, unity, and justice that Jesus preached.
