In The False White Gospel by Jim Wallis his third chapter focuses on voting rights. He concludes the chapter by writing, “And if we have value we ought to have a voice. And the way to have a voice is to have a vote to determine the direction of your country and your destiny within in it.” [p.92] He also included Senator Ralph Warnock’s belief that “a vote is a kind of prayer for the world we desire for ourselves and our children.” [p.91]. Please remember to vote on Tuesday, November 4 if you have not voted already. And especially think of the children if there is a school board election in your district.
